Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy explains how iLearnIt ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile applications, website at ilearnit.info, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address, password (stored as a hashed value), and any display name you choose. You may optionally provide your primary instrument.
1.2 Purchase information
When you buy a course, the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Google) processes the payment — we never see your credit-card details. We do receive a transaction receipt that lets us mark the course as owned in your library.
1.3 Usage data
We collect aggregate information about how you use the Service: which courses you open, which lectures you complete, app version, device model, OS version, and crash diagnostics. This helps us fix bugs and improve the curriculum.
1.4 Communications
If you contact us, we keep your email and the contents of your message so we can respond and improve our support.
2. How we use your information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate you and link your purchases to your account.
- Send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, password reset, account changes).
- Send service announcements and — with your consent — occasional product news. You can opt out at any time.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers — Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Hosting, Crashlytics), Apple, and Google, who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal compliance — to comply with a court order, subpoena, or applicable law.
- Business transfers — if iLearnIt is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred. We'll notify you before that happens.
4. Data retention
We keep your account information until you delete the account. When you delete the account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except for transaction records we are legally required to keep (typically 7 years for tax/accounting purposes).
5. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under data-protection law (GDPR, CCPA, and similar):
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate information.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your account and the associated data.
- Portability — request a machine-readable export.
- Objection / restriction — limit how we use your information.

6. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA/UK). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures — TLS in transit, encrypted storage, scoped access, regular dependency updates — to protect your information. No system is 100% secure; if we ever experience a breach that affects your information, we'll notify you as required by law.
8. International transfers
iLearnIt is operated from Vietnam, and our service providers operate worldwide. Your information may be processed in any country where these providers maintain facilities. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (or equivalent safeguards) where required.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app banner.
